Collaboration between Career loans and Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc. (TAYFFI)

Career Loans has recently collaborated with Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc. (TAYFFI) to provide a wider range of services for newcomers in Saskatoon.

The Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc. (TAYFFI) is a Saskatoon-based non-profit organization that provides support services for youth and families, especially members of vulnerable populations, in order that they become engaged and contributing members of their respective communities.

With core objectives of harnessing human potential, promoting individual responsibility, and creating pathways to successful integration for Newcomers to the Greater Saskatoon Area the Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc (TAYFFI) offer an array of services. This includes:

  • Newcomer Family Support;
  • Youth Empowerment and Mentorship;
  • Pathways to Success Program for Internationally Trained Professionals;
  • Visible Minority Women empowerment and Mentorship;
  • Community Support,
  • Multiculturalism and Anti-racism initiative;
  • Community and Individual Wellness Outreach; and
  • Research and Resource Development

The Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc (TAYFFI) is committed to reinforcing collective consciousness on civic engagement, fostering social inclusion, promoting intercultural learning, and building new relationships among members of the Indigenous, Newcomer, and Ethnocultural communities across the Greater Saskatoon communities.

Speaking on behalf of TAYFFI, the Executive Director, Anthony Olusola, believes the collaboration between Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc and the Career Loans program offered through the Centre for Education and Training, is another way in which TAYFFI continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting potential beneficiaries. That is, supporting Internationally Trained Professionals, residing in the Greater Saskatoon and area, on their journey to becoming economically-integrated and attain their self-actualization in Canada.

Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundations Inc (TAYFFI) encourages all recent and newly arrived newcomers (permanent residents) in Saskatoon and Area seeking to advance in their career and competencies to visit their office located at 3-320 Jessop Avenue, Saskatoon SK to determine their eligibility for the Career Loans support service.

Career Loans empowers Internationally Trained Individuals (ITI's) in Alberta and Saskatchewan to achieve their career goals, by providing free one-on-one employment and financial counselling and micro loans to eligible applicants.
